The kids club was particularly good. The staff were very attentive and spent a lot of time making our 5 year old son feel relaxed and enjoy his time there. He normally hates kids clubs but here he enjoyed it so much that he complained when we came to pick him up early. They had fun activities for the kids to do after skiing, like treasure hunts and solving puzzles. We all had a great week and that’s in no small part to the kids club.

This was my family’s 4th winter visit to this club med. The activities, the staff, cleanliness and atmosphere are amazing. The food is amazing. It has a fun vibe that you don’t get with other all-inclusive resorts.

We visited the last week of January, 2026, right after the mountain re-opened after the strike. Although it was stressful leading up to the trip, trying to figure out an entire alternative vacation plan and then cancelling the plan when the strike settled, we were really glad to be able to return. This was our second trip to this Club Med. We found this visit to be a lot better than our first trip.
Dining: one of our main complaints on our last visit was the management of the dining room. This has drastically improved. Last visit you had to chase a staff member down for a glass of wine to have with your dinner - and the plates would pile up throughout the meal without anyone coming to clear them. The food was fine but it wasn't anything special. However, this year the management has fixed all of these previous issues. The dining room staff were very friendly and seemed happy to be there. They were quick to visit the table multiple times during the meal. The food quality has improved 1000% -- with incredible nightly features. Food was kept warm and everyone in the family found things at each meal that they loved. We were blown away by the improvement.
Bar: the cocktails and beer selection at this hotel has always been great, and I was glad to see that had not changed. The bar tenders are really friendly - the quality of the cocktails are awesome (try the Canadian Old Fashioned!) they have Unibroue beers on tap (which is one of our favourite breweries in the country).
Ski Lessons: We had amazing instructors on both visits - they were better than any lessons we had previously taken elsewhere. We learned so much over the week and grew to develop our skills and challenge ourselves. Our son especially really connected with our instructor Tom - he was incredible at helping everyone learn at their own pace by offering part of the group one activity that was easier and the other half something more challenging. We had Jean Michelle on the last day and he also taught us a lot. Last year we had Charles, and he was also really great.
Rooms: The rooms are kept clean, and are nicely decorated with a nod to Canadian culture. The beds are comfortable - we all slept well. The only complaint I have about the rooms is that there is nowhere to dry wet ski clothing. For a ski resort - this seems like an oversight that could be remedied for not a lot of investment. The bathrooms don't have anywhere to store anything other than the counter tops, there is no shelving below the sinks for toiletry bags etc. There are only two hooks and one on the back of the door, no towel racks etc. A heated towel rack in the rooms would be great for drying wet clothes. We look forward to visiting this Club Med again in the future.

Our family spent an incredible week at Club Med Charlevoix, and it exceeded expectations in every way. The ski instruction stood out as a true highlight — both for adults and kids. Our daughter progressed more in a week than she did over an entire seven-week program at our local hill. The instructors were not only skilled but genuinely passionate, creating a fun and confidence-building environment for all levels.

The food was consistently excellent, with impressive variety and quality throughout the week. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, from breakfast buffets to evening dinners that kept both kids and adults happy. The staff across the resort — from reception and lounge to the ski rental shop — were unfailingly friendly, attentive, and helpful.

The facilities were spotless, modern, and well maintained, making it easy to relax between ski sessions. We also loved the welcoming, family-focused atmosphere — plenty of young families, friendly guests, and a strong sense of community throughout the property. It was the kind of environment where everyone seemed happy and engaged.

We left already planning our return — Club Med Charlevoix delivered the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and genuine hospitality.
