Cherating Beach Malaysia

when you feel like the city's a tad bit too stifling; it's time to make a quick escape to this idyllic but energetic village some three hours (by car) away.

with Clayton at the helm, the entire village's programme radiates classic textbook premium professionalism. at times, this feels a touch cold - quite the departure from what i've been used to with the warmth and rah-rah of club med but, all things considered, the bar for high standards is well-met and well-maintained so kudos, chief!

thank you to the formidable g.o. team that has made me feel so welcomed in such a short time; it truly felt like coming home. Shoutouts to:

KK, Zhen, Dinesh and Dee from the ReceptionRoom Division team who were warm, kind, approachable and went out of their way to answer all of my (endless) questions and re-integrate with the village. It was also lovely seeing Nia and Jestina again upon arrival. Thank you, Young and Jessica for being fantastic dinnertime company!

Poppy who was so wonderfully warm, precise and considerate in anticipating my needs - she took extra care to ensure that my drink did not contain alcohol when she'd helped put in my drink order and i love that she was open and funny in sharing her experiences leading up to becoming bar manager - happy first season as bar manager, Poppy. may it be a formidable, unforgettable one and a very special thanks as well to Allycia who was mega efficient in making all of my drinks!!

thank you Narumi, Ishmael and Carol for the candid conversations in passing which I always enjoy and very much appreciate. additionally, to Nazri who made a personal effort to come up to me to introduce himself and ask my name before wishing me a pleasant stay - it was a small gesture but left a big impact!

Thank you Fida and Ishmael for the hospitality and amazing experiences! I had a really fun time at the teens club making new friends and playing games like laser tag, paddleboarding, trapeze, pool, and rock climbing together! Will really miss Club Med!

Abegoss and anth were very helpful bartenders and made me a drink I had never tasted before I really like them as they were kind and would interact with me at the bar and when I needed anything I would just do to either one of them for help I really enjoyed it and they just made it better

Our family has experienced a variety of Club Meds around the world, and our favorite is Cherating in Malaysia! A big shout out to the Circus Team—Cammy, Elaine, Azfar, Zol and Zikri—thank you for making us feel like family and helping us grow our trapeze skills. Thanks for making training sessions fun and for valuing adults and kids, alike. The teen club GO, Seamus, was such a blessing as well. He was available and helpful when the teens wanted to hang out.

This my 1st time in Club Med Cherating. It was such a pleasant experience which I've never experience before. I came into the club & I met 1 gentleman his name was ABEGOSS. IT WAS SUCH A PLEASURE MEETING SOMEONE WHO PUT ENHANCE MY EXPERIENCE WHICH I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCE BEFORE. Reason being I've never been brought to such pleasure & experience that doesn't fall anything below 5 star experience!
