From the age of 4, kids can enrol in ski lessons led by professional instructors, with a safe practice area in which to learn and improve.
If you have kids of different ages, these childcare facilities – where you can confidently leave younger children to have fun for a few hours – will give you a chance to spend quality time skiing with your older kids, too.
Although Japan is known for its family-friendly credentials, each ski resort is different in terms of its facilities. Look for resorts that have snow gardens, where kids can get comfortable on their skis and practice at their own pace.
