What’s New in Summer at Kabira Ishigaki

Why not experience the island’s breathtaking underwater world through an unforgettable dive?
The world-famous Manta Scramble and Manta City are located just a short distance from the resort, only about 5 minutes away by boat from the beach right in front of us. From September to November is the best season, with the highest chance of encountering manta rays. The meeting of vibrant coral reefs and graceful manta rays in crystal-clear waters will be an unparalleled and moving experience.

Enjoy a remarkable snorkeling experience in emerald waters and along pristine sandy beaches, directly accessible from the resort’s beach.
Guests can explore vibrant marine life year-round, including tropical fish, clownfish, jellyfish and coral reefs.

Self-Guided Snorkeling
Guests can enjoy snorkeling directly from Club Med’s beach at their own pace within a designated safety zone, where vibrant marine life can be found just meters from the shore. Snorkeling equipment is available for loan at the beach shack, subject to availability (priority given to boat outings). Guests are encouraged to bring their own snorkeling gear.

Group Snorkeling Boat Outings
For those seeking a guided experience, group snorkeling trips by boat are also available at select times of the year, taking guests to nearby reefs just 2 to 5 minutes away. A swimming test is required for boat outings and G.Os are available to offer lessons for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Snorkeling Excursions
Enjoy year-round snorkeling tours to view vibrant marine life like tropical fish, turtles, manta rays, and baby sharks. Activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions.

Join the optional “Kabira Strolling” excursion and visit one of Ishigaki Island’s most breathtaking scenic spots — Kabira Bay, just a 10-minute drive from the resort.

Hop aboard a glass boat to admire the clear waters and vibrant marine life below, then enjoy free time to explore the panoramic viewing platform overlooking the bay, as well as nearby attractions and local shops.

The “Kabira Strolling” half-day tour departs daily from the resort and is available for an additional fee. Please inquire and book at the Excursion Desk on-site.

Our free jogging map located in our Kabira resort offers a variety of scenic routes for all runners, highlighting stunning natural spots and points of interest along the way.

In just 1 to 1.5 hours, explore the stunning coastlines of Ishigaki island on a guided paddle. Glide through crystal-clear waters, uncovering hidden coves, and soak in the untouched beauty of this paradise.
Available for those aged 8 and up. Be sure to reserve your spot one day in advance to book the front seat to a breathtaking view.

directly to our sustainability efforts.
